Jaundice...

We found ourselves spending several hours in the NICU watching and holding Nixon. The room was full of beeping monitors and sleeping newborns.

It was so adorable to watch Brooks in his dad role.


Nixon had to stay later than expected due to having jaundice. It was very difficult to watch him through the Plexiglas and only take him out to feed him. We constantly were saying our hellos and good byes and missed him so much when we weren't with him.




His poor little toes were all dried out from being under the lights.



Brooks couldn't help but draw eyes on his shades...we thought it was so funny...we were also really sleepy.
